Studio Blup

The talk by Dines from Studio Blup was highly inspiring. It was encouraging to hear someones story who didn't gloss over the negative times that he has been through to become the successful designer that he is today.

Key notes:

- To stand out from the rest, you need a style

- Push a brief with a client and show them what more you can do for them. This gives the designer more exposure as well as demonstrating to clients the other skill sets that you can offer. 

- Having a personalised email domain name is important in appearing authentic and professional

- When designing a website/portfolio, it is important to focus on the content and ensure the imagery is strong. The client doesn't want to read large or if any text, it's all about the visuals

These are elements to my design practice that I hope to ensure are present.
